Terms

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 2026

By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Any investigative or TSCM assignment is also governed by a separate written engagement agreement. If the two conflict, the engagement agreement controls for that assignment.

General Information Only

Website content is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal advice, security advice, mental-health evaluation, or a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional.

No Automatic Professional Relationship

Visiting the website, sending a message, or requesting a consultation does not create a professional relationship or obligate InquiriPro to accept an assignment. Services begin only after the matter is accepted in writing and the scope and terms are agreed.

Scope and Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Identifying deadlines, court orders, and known legal restrictions
  • Using services and deliverables only for lawful purposes
  • Providing required authority, access, and cooperation
  • Promptly communicating material changes

Lawful and Ethical Use

InquiriPro may decline, limit, suspend, or terminate work that is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, outside the agreed scope, beyond available authority, or inconsistent with professional standards. Services will not be provided to facilitate harassment, coercion, stalking, retaliation, or another improper purpose.

No Guaranteed Outcome

Investigations and TSCM examinations involve facts and conditions that may be incomplete, changing, concealed, or outside our control. No particular finding, evidence, identification, recovery, legal result, or other outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Reports and Work Product

Reports, photographs, findings, and other deliverables are prepared for the client and purpose identified in the engagement agreement. They may not be altered, misrepresented, published, sold, or used for an unrelated purpose without written permission, except as required by law.

Website and Intellectual Property

Website text, graphics, branding, and original materials belong to InquiriPro or their respective owners. Users may not copy, republish, exploit, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InquiriPro and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use or reliance on general website information. Liability connected with accepted services is governed by the applicable engagement agreement and law.

Changes and Governing Law

InquiriPro may update this website and these terms. Continued use after publication of revised terms constitutes acceptance of those revisions. These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Fees and Refunds

Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 2026

Fees, retainers, deposits, expenses, billing intervals, and payment terms are established in the written engagement agreement. That agreement controls the financial terms of an accepted assignment.

Work performed

Earned fees are not refundable

Time already worked and services already completed remain payable.

Unused funds

Final accounting is provided

Any refundable unused balance is returned after earned fees and authorized costs are deducted.

Outside expenses

Committed costs are not refundable

Third-party charges and expenses cannot be refunded once incurred or committed.

Retainers and Advance Payments

Retainers or advance payments are applied to professional time, services, and authorized expenses as described in the engagement agreement. A payment is not a guarantee of a particular outcome or amount of work beyond the available balance and agreed scope.

Client Cancellation

A client may request that work stop by providing written notice. The client remains responsible for work performed, time committed when chargeable under the engagement agreement, and costs incurred through the effective termination date.

Unused Balances

After an assignment ends, InquiriPro will complete a final accounting. Any unused balance eligible for refund will be returned after earned fees, authorized expenses, noncancelable commitments, and other amounts due under the engagement agreement are deducted.

Nonrefundable Charges

Unless the engagement agreement states otherwise, refunds do not include:

  • Professional time already worked
  • Travel, mileage, lodging, parking, or field expenses already incurred
  • Database, records, laboratory, equipment, or third-party fees
  • Rush, scheduling, or noncancelable charges already committed
  • Completed consultations, examinations, reports, or deliverables

No Result-Based Refunds

Fees compensate professional time, expertise, resources, and expenses—not a promised result. A finding that is inconclusive, unfavorable, or different from what a client expected does not, by itself, create a right to a refund.

Cancellation by InquiriPro

If InquiriPro declines or ends an assignment, the account will be reviewed and any refundable unused balance will be returned after earned fees and authorized expenses are applied. Obligations that must continue under law or professional standards are not affected.

Questions or Billing Concerns

Contact InquiriPro promptly with questions about an invoice, cancellation, unused balance, or refund. Requests will be reviewed under the written engagement agreement and the circumstances of the assignment.
